This Privacy Policy describes how Next Race ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application. Next Race is developed and operated by Joshua Barnard, an individual developer.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and keep your account secure

To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product
To communicate with you about your account or the App, if necessary

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each processes a limited set of data on our behalf:

Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — used only if you choose to sign in with these methods; they provide us your name and email address to create your account.
Amplitude — analytics provider used to understand feature usage.
Sentry — crash and error reporting.
Expo / EAS — app build, update-delivery, and hosting infrastructure.

These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion (see Section 6), we will delete your account data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (TLS) and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Account Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at privacy@getnextrace.app. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
